About Bete

My name is Elisabete Thess and I teach English as a foreign language in Brazil. Nowadays I am the manager of the Cultura Inglesa branch in Petrópolis, RJ, and my mind boils with ideas about teaching and learning. I’ll be in Brighton for the IATEFL 2011 acting as a Roving Reporter for the British Council and I created this blog to calm my heart, such is the anticipation of being part of so big an event. I’m sure this event will be a milestone in my career.

  1. Teachers like us can never rest. You boil! You dream! You rock! You’re great and I can hardly wait to devour the delicacies you’re gonna feed us while you’re there. Yes, yes, teachers are always hungry for more! 😉

    • You’re soooo very kind. Thank you! And yes, I’m forever hungry for knowledge, travels, friends, laughter, experience and… ice cream! 🙂
